Installing an internal Wireless Card in a 5150
Hello, Can anyone tell me how to go about installing an internal wireless card into a 5150? I had one in the PCI slot but it hit the side of the desk and the card broke. Thanks to my son. Anyway, I purchased a new Linksys wireless for the slot but it doesn't want to work unless I really push it in and hold it into the PCMCIA slot. Once I let go the card won't stay engaged into the slot.
I am new to working on Laptops. I have unscrewed everything but something in the middle of the laptop seems to be still connected and I don't want to pull too hard as I don't know how it is attached. It seems to be right under where the Memory cards are located.
I want to either install an internal wireless card and check to see if I need a new PCMCIA slot.
Any suggestions would be apprieciated!!
Thanks,
Todd.
