Installing the Control Utility for my 2300 Router

Hi, I am setting up a new computer.    The new computer is replacing the computer that currently has the Control Uitility on it.   When I installed the control utility I had to go through a bunch of hoops, connecting the computer to the internet, then the router to the internet etc etc.  Is there a way to install the utility without going through that?  I don't want to re-set up everything.

Thank you in advance.

You do not need to install the control utility on any computer at all.  Everything you do with the control utility can be done through the web based configuration utility using a browser.  See the manual that came with the router or the online version at:

One little snag.  It wants a username and password.  I have no idea what that is.   I tried using the same as the control utility and it didn't work.

Oh, never mind.  It worked this time.  Of course it did because I made a fool of myself online.  Thanks
