Intel Centrino Advanced N 6200 AGN

Anyone else having problems with this adapter. I am constantly having to run the troubleshooter in windows 7 to reset the adapter. I have four computers here and this is the only one that has a problem. Using the Studio 1749. I did upgrade the drivers for the adapter.   Jim

Exact same problem with a Studio 1569 that has the same network adapter - no solution yet.

I am having the same issue with my studio 1749, ive reinstalled all drivers and even reinstalled windows 7 and it still will not connect to any wireless networks (secured or unsecured) the laptop is only 15months old.....and it just so happens it came off its warranty, lol

So today at class I removed the wireless card from the laptop and inserted another card which I knew was working (it was from another laptop) and the wireless began working fine!!!! So I ordered a new card from tiger direct for $63 shipped!!!! the part number is yyi1-cg6024.......hope this helps you guys out!!

Downloaded the ICS_s64.exe

Make a system restore point.

I enabled the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter and Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #2

I went to start, control panel, programs and features. I uninstall Inter ProSet Wireless and I also think I uninstall the Intel Wireless Display.

Restarted the computer.

Went to start, control panel, device manager, network. I noticed that the 6200 was still there. I right clicked on it, then left clicked uninstall. It asks you if you want to remove and associated software with it. I clicked yes. When it was done, I restarted the computer.

I then double clicked on ICS_s64.exe, choose custon to make sure everything was going to be installed. I then installed and restarted one last time. I then connected and everything seems to be working fine, no processor spikes and I even have the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter and Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #3(now #3) enabled.
