Intel PROSet and 802.1 with the Broadcom NIC

Hello,

I am trying to use 802.1 authentication with the built in Broadcom NIC while still using the Intel PROSet software. PROSet disables the 'Wireless Zero Configuration' service which allows 802.1 configuration in Windows XP. Why 802.1/RADIUS configuration is part of this service I have no clue but it is turning out to be the bane of my existence.

Does anyone have any suggestions for configuring 802.1 authentication while still being able to use the Intel PROSet utility? I have approximately 150 users this will effect. So I'm really open to any suggestion.
