Intel Wireless card in Inspiron E1705
I have owned the E1705 for over a year and continue to have problems with the Intel wireless card. Here are some of them: 1. Using a Netgear wires router it will contiunelly drop the connection. 2. When it searches for wireless networks it finds none, even though there are two wireless networks in my home. 3. I have a hardware firewall that can be used as a wireless access point. When I try to connect to it, it will connect sometimes, but when loading a web page it can take upwards of 5 minutes. When the netgear it does load the page in about 30 seconds. I have thought that it was just a problem with the Netgear, but I have 4 more wireless computers in the house and the all connect just fine except for one Toshiba that has the same Intel wireless network card. I have downloaded the latest drivers from Intel and that doesn't help. Very dissatisfied with this wireless network card.
