Internet, but no poker!

Question

I have no problem connecting to the web (w/ my Inspiron 8200's integrated controller), but I can't access other servers (i.e., e-mail servers, certain other non-web based applications, and most importantly, PartyPoker!).  Any ideas?  Thanks all.

It's been a couple of weeks and I haven't had time to deal with it.  I was thinking about reinstalling the OS, but aside from the pain that is, I was hoping for a diagnosis.

(Ha, ha!)  I've got it pinned to Symantec (Norton Personal Firewall), but the permissions for the servers I can't access are wide open.  Oh well.  Time to deal with the vendor.
