internet connection at a crawl
I just bought a new Dimension 2400, (computer is less than 2 weeks old) I have it all hooked up but the internet connection is at a snails pace.
I use dial up service, it usually connects at about 49.2k. Another problem is that I cant get ebay to load at all. I use ebay a lot but it wont even come up.
My old computer runs Windows 98, and is about 5 years old and it works better than my new one. At a minimum I would figure that the new computer would run just as fast.
New computer uses Windows XP home additon and I use Everyones Internet for dial up.
I have a post to Everyones Internet also to see if maybe it is there problem

I thought about that but the computer is only two weeks old. Could the spyware have been added the first time I logged on to the internet?
What is the best software to use to remove it?

doctor mike,
You say you installed Spybot, but did you update the spyware defintions, run it, and let it delete everything that it found. Just installing it will accomplish nothing.
