Internet Connectivity Dell XPS 8300 Broadcom and Net Gear Charter ISP

I had my desk top hooked up with a wired connection. I had to move the router and modem upstairs and am now trying to connect my desk top with a wireless connection. The desk top worked fine connected with a hard wire and has worked wirelessly in the past. I just had new Charter service installed this week.

Dell XPS / Win 7 Home Premium SP-1 / 64 Bit / Broadcom Netlink Gigabit Ethernet - DW1501 Wireless N WLAN Half Mini Card - My Virtual WiFi

I can connect to the internet and it shows internet access bottom right corner. I can connect and disconnect just fine. Will not open any web pages. Diagnostic shows a broken connection to the router. I have rebooted and restarted everything 3 or 4 time with the same results. I can connect but can not get traffic from the web. New service Cisco Router and Net Gear wifi newest charter has to offer.

The computer worked fine hard wired and all my other devices work fine. Just can not connect the desk top to the wifi. Any one help me with this? Its probably something simple but its got me stumped.

Thanks

Joe
