Internet Problems with new XPS M1730

I got this M1730 Last week Thursday to be exact and when i first turned it on the Wireless Worked Great. It also has the AT&T broadband Card in it but i haven't Activated it yet it needs a regular internet connection to activate it and now for sum reason it keeps wanting to connect thru the AT&T 3G connection but wont let the internet use the wireless connection, it Says it is connected to the Wireless with an Excellent Connection and no Problems but still internet Explorer and Firefox will not connect to Yahoo messenger either. any Help will be Greatly appreciated thought id try here before contacting Dell.
