ip-address from Wireless 2350 Broadband Router
I have 3 pc's on my network, 2 wireless and one wired (XP)
The 2 wireless pc's are getting internet connection without problems but the wired is not.
I have configured the local area connection to recieve ip addresses automatically, but it comes up with the error "could not get an ip address from the dhcp-server" (translated from norwegian). I've tried several cables, resetting the router, and I've ran the wizard again.
I've tried the problem-pc with a different router (CNet) and that is working fine.
Is it a hardware error in the 2350? Anyone have an idea?

Try downloading and running winsockfix for Windows XP from the Here and if that doesn't work try lspfix from Here.

Have you tried a different port on the router? A different network cable? Can you ping the router successfully?

Yes, I've tried a different port, a different cable, and no, I can't ping the router. I connected another laptop computer (wired) to the router and that worked fine, so I'm really not having a clue here.... Especially when the problem pc can connect to another router.
I've checked the XP-firewall, and the two router-items in the list are checked.
I forgot to tell, but this issue appeared suddenly after 14 days of no problems.

Thanks for your reply.
I've tried the two options you mentioned, but still no good.
As told, I brought the computer to another house with another router and then the computer got its IP. The two locations has the same ISP.
