Since there are no Express Card wireless adapters currently for sale (they are coming soon), unless you bought the computer with an internal wireless card, your only option is to get a USB wireless network adapter. Even then, you need to have a wireless network to connect to. This is normally a wireless router connected to a broadband modem in your home. Thus, you already need the broadband internet service in order to connect. You can also connect to free hotspots that are often found at coffee shops, hotels, and restaurants. But these have limited range and some charge a fee for the connection.

If you wait until the Express card wireless adapters come out, then yes, they will work with any 802.11b or 802.11 g wireless networks. These are the ones commonly found at hotels and restaurants.

I have the B130 w/ the built-in wireless card- 1370 it fairly well. Did you buy yours with an interal card? If not you need to use a USB adapter, D-Link is one of the best for this matter.

An internal wireless card goes in the MiniPCI slot inside your computer. Since you did not order it with one, it would be very difficult to install one now because it does not have the required internal antenna. The slot on the side of your computer is not the common PC Card slot. It is the newer Express Card slot. Since there are not currently any Express Card wireless adpaters, you would either have to wait until some manufacturer releases one to the market or get a USB wireless network adapter that plugs into one of your USB ports.
