is it safe to keep my dsl modem on all the time? i have a slew of other stuff attached wired and wirelessly to the router that the modem plugs into and the router has this 'always on' thing. just wondering if it is safe to keep my modem on all the time, simply because of how hot it gets. thanks

One of the advantages of having a broadband internet connection is the 'always on' aspect of the connection.  There is no reason to ever turn off the dsl modem.   Steve
