lan connection only shows 10Mbps connection

Please check the following:

1. Make sure that the network you are connecting to is capable of supporting a 100 megabit connection.  If it is and you connect with a third party router, make sure the router can connect to a 100 MB connection. 
2. Update the network drivers on your system.
3. Update the firmware, if available.

 

What network are you connected to......? Home or Office...

Does the router or swich you connect to support 100meg...? if not then you will only get 10meg

Known problem - get the Actiontec 8255x driver linked below in my sig, then delete the one you're using, and load the one you downloaded.

I've installed the new drivers and now see a 100Mbps connection.

 

Are you connecting to a network or directly to your ISP?  If directly to your ISP, then you will not see any increase in speed.

It is still good to get a properly working driver - the earlier drivers did not auto negotiate the speed setup and throughput correctly.  Even locking the card params to 100mb full or half duplex didn't work right all the time.  I always recommend getting this driver.
