martymarty,

When you installed the operating system, did you install the notebook system utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

You should be able to start with the notebook system utility and the chipset drivers, then install the drivers in order. Things should start working.

martymarty,

Install...

Dell Notebook System Software

 Intel Mobile Chipset

Texas Instruments PCI 6515 Cardbus

Broadcom Trusted Platform Module

Then install...

Broadcom 57XX Gigabit Integrated Controller

Then go to Dell Warranty Status enter your service tag number and look and see which wireless adapter is installed. Then go to Drivers & Downloads and download and install the driver/
