latitude d610
i have a latitude d610 service tag <ADMIN NOTE:Service tag removed per privacy policy>
i just reinstalled my windows xp. before this wireless card was working perfectly.
. i downloaded drivers for wireless card right from dell site and the don't work. i have tried many other drivers and none of them work. please help

When you installed the operating system, did you install the notebook system utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
You should be able to start with the notebook system utility and the chipset drivers, then install the drivers in order. Things should start working.

thanks pud but because of you i just reinstalled windows a second time to find the same thing. the wireless driver is no good. it installs but no driver is put in the system. i even tried to undate driver and show it where driver files are and it says no driver found. please help with some other suggestions

Dell Notebook System Software
Intel Mobile Chipset
Texas Instruments PCI 6515 Cardbus
Broadcom Trusted Platform Module
Then install...
Broadcom 57XX Gigabit Integrated Controller
Then go to Dell Warranty Status enter your service tag number and look and see which wireless adapter is installed. Then go to Drivers & Downloads and download and install the driver/
