Latitude E5430, Wireless doesn't work
Hello,
My company updated a new Dell Latitude E5430 laptop for me in February 2014. Everything was fine untile in the middle of March 2014: the wireless doesn't work since then. Wireless light on the keyboard will be on for one minute then off. There is a yellow alarm on "Dell Wirelss 1504 802.11b/g/n (2.4Ghz)" in Device Manager:
I already restored the system to Feb.'s restore-point, and installed new drivers from Dell. But no one was working. I also went to BIOS check and found Wireless LAN is installed, but Wireless WAN is not installed. Is it a hardware malfunction or softare related?

John_try,
What virus program and firewall are you using?
Make and model of your wireless router and the type of security you're using? What channel?
Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID and REGISTERED OWNER and post the information back here.

John_try,
Did you install the operating system new on 1/23/2014 or was the system new? If you installed the operating system, did you install the drivers in the correct order? How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Install in this exact order...
Dell Feature Enhancement Pack Application
Intel Chipset Driver
Intel(R) Management Engine Components Installer
O2Micro Memory Card Reader Driver
Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver
ST Microelectronics Free Fall Data Protection Driver
Then download and install...
Intel 825xx 10/100/1000 Ethernet Controller Driver
Dell Wireless 1504/1540 Half Mini Card Driver
I cannot find Dell Control Point for your system. See if it's already installed.
Places to look to see if your Connection is enabled

Thank you very much for your reply, Rick.
I got this laptop from my company in the end of February, and everything was installed at that time. Wireless was working fine.
I am not sure whether our IT guys installed drivers in a correct order or not, but I guess yes because everything was fine as I said. Can I re-install them now?
I couldn't find Dell Control Point in my system either. Can I install it now and where is the software?
I reviewed "Connection is enabled" and found there is no "Radio control options" under "windows mobility centre", neither "Customized by Dell Inc."
