Limited or no connectivity after vacation

Question

I went on vacation for about 4 days.  I have 2 dells and unplugged them both.  One is the host of the home network the other is the client.  When I got back and started everything up the client has 'limited or no connectivity' on its network connection.  I've tried running the wizard again but that doesn't help.  Any thoughts?

Dial-up, broadband, what type of connection?  Is there a router somewhere is this mix?

It is hooked up to DSL.  The modem runs to the host and the two computers are connected by a switch.

The switch was less expensive when we set up the network and it has worked for more than two years just fine.

If you have DSL, why aren't you using a router instead of ICS????

Juts exactly how do you have this set up?  For ICS, you would usually have two NIC cards in the host and routers are generally cheaper than switches nowadays.

The DSL modem is connected to the host through a USB port.  Each computer has one network card that runs to the switch and that is how they are connected.
