"Limited or No Connectivity"
I have an Inspiron 8100 and an AT&T Wireless G PCMCIA card.
For a couple of monhts now, I've been getting a "Limited or No Connectivity" message.
I found an article about this (at this link).
I did what the article said to do yesterday. But today I had this problem 3-4 times.
Can someone offer any assistance?
Here's the instructions the article provided.
To rebuild the winsock layer in Windows XP, perform the following steps:
- Click the Start button, and then click Run.
The Run window appears. - Type cmd in the Run window, and then press the key or click OK.
The command DOS box appears. - At the prompt, type netsh winsock reset, and then press the key.
The message Successfully reset the Winsock Catalog appears. - Close the command window and reboot the system.
The internet connectivity will function normally again.
