lost network key for WEP need help

I've just bought a new computer and I would like to be able to access the internet through my existing wireless router however I've missed placed the network security key for it  Is their anyway I can find out what my key# is??
 
thanks for any help you can give.

just figured out how to find it....
 
here is what i did:
 
Using a wired connection from the computer to the router (or an already successfuly connected wireless computer)  type this address hppt://192.168.2.1 into the Internet Explorer browser.
 
It will bring you to a log in screen.
 The user name is: admin
The password is: admin    (all lowercase)
 
Next click the Basic Settings tab and then Wireless Security from the drop down menu.
 
The mystery of the WEP Key is now revealed (you thought you forgot to write it down during the installation process - but you didn't ever see it)

This works on some makes and models of wireless routers, but don't expect it to work on all makes and models.

The address would depend on your router though. im assuming this is a LINKSYS router right?... good tip :smileyhappy:
