low signal via WI-FI

I have a Dell for a year(INSPIRON N17110) with adapter:Dell Wireless 1702 802.11b/g/n. All time it has a low signal via WI-FI. Signal 5-10 times less than in other notebook (for example Lenovo). Even next to the Router signal is 3-4 times less. Tell me what to do ?. Thanks.

Hi vladi67,

Have you tried accessing any other network? Please download the latest Wi-Fi driver from the below site and let us know if there is a difference.

I've set it up this morning. did a repair driver

After install driver and restart computers nothing has changed

Maybe it was necessary to first remove and then re-install the driver?

Hi vladi67,

Yes. Uninstall the previous driver and reinstall the latest driver from the support site.

Hi vladi67,

Kindly check if the roaming aggressiveness in the Wi-Fi-card properties is set to High in Device manager.

I did not find this option(roaming aggressiveness) in Device Manager for : Dell Wireless 1702.802,11b/g/n

Where is it located and how it is written exactly ?

Hi vladi67,

You would normally find the roaming settings in the advanced tab for Intel Wi-Fi cards. Try switching the antenna from AUTO to AUX in the device manager. Please refer to the below mentioned thread.
