Hi evilex,
I would suggest you to install all the drivers in the system in correct order. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the OS, then download the necessary drivers listed under appropriate section onto the system and install it.

I did all told below, got things working, but my wireless connection is really bad, it keeps connecting and disconnecting all the time.
I forgot to mention, not sure if important, i just bought this computer, and before Win7 it had Ubuntu installed on it. When setting up my own Win7 i deleted the Ubuntu partition and also DELLUTILITY partition, which (i think) is causing me the driver problems, so my question is, is there any way for me to get that DELL partiton back, even if that means yet another windowd re instalation.
Thanks.

Hi evilex,
The partition you have deleted is a recovery partition. This is used to restore the system to factory state. Once it’s deleted it can be brought back only if you had created a recovery discs. Please send me a private message with the system service tag so that I can check what can be done. To send a private message, click on my name and select ‘Send private message’.
