Modem Driver for Inspiron 7000

I have put Windows 2000 on this rather old laptop. It still gets the job done for word processing, ect.. But the Win LT Modem won't get recognized. It gives me an exlamation mark beside it in the system hardware settings. I think there is an IRQ conflict possibly? Anyone have a idea? Again, I am running Win2k with SP4.
