Modem not recognizing Sprint PCS Merlin S620 Connection Card
I just installed the software for my new Sprint PCS connection card, Merlin S620. The software is installed, but the modem isn't recognizing my card when I insert the card into the port. Any ideas?
I recently was using a different connection card, and about 10 days ago it stopped working. Sprint PCS thought it was the card not working, I'm now wondering if it's my modem. I have a Dell Inspriron 600M.
I rely on my wireless connection for business presentations and now it's not working. My network admin in stumped.
Thank you.

Has anyone figured this problem out. I get the error on the novatel and cruietel cards. HELP! Computer radomly locks up constantly. System restore does not work as registry must be holding back entries. I'm ready to get ghost instead of manually having to reimage.
Any help would be great.

If you want to use a card that works, use the Sierra Wireless Air Card 580 - don't forget to download the firmware update, etc.
IMPORTANT!!!! IF YOU HAVE THE SECURITY CHIP (BROADCOM) ON BOARD, YOU MUST HAVE IT ACTIVE AND YOU MUST BE SIGNED IN - if not, when the software tries to load, it will tell you it that the "N Drive" (the security drive on the chip), is not accessable."
Have fun!

:smileysad:I started with the Sierra card. Then Sprint sent me back after two weeks of trouble shooting to get the Merlin card.
Do they have a third model that my store might not be carrying. Something I can get from Sprint. 89.00/Mo is getting expensive for something that just will not produce.

Send my your Dell model, op sys and any "extras" your computer may have. Send to my email
ptexxmia@bellsouth.net - I'll try to help. Also, call your provider and ask for a credit for all the time you have been down.
