My 9300 is not working right!!!

Here's what I did.  The MaCAfee anti-virus system keeps on stating that it's disabled while it is enabled, so I decided to go with AVG.  After downloading AVG, I tried and deleted the MaCAfee programs, but the main MaCAfee host was not abling for deletion.  After the other programs of MaCAfee is removed using software remove, the computer goes wacko.  Here are some problems encountered.   MaCAfee hoster with that big M in a red box is not showing anything clickable after opened. Windows Media Player stop functioning with report of an error in the internal system. Some sites won't open after loging in, yahoo mail won't load at all after signing in.   and here's how it all went.  I decided to install my previosly purchased Windows XP Pro Chinese Edition into the system, so I went on and reformated my hard drive.  After the reformating and installation of the new OS, I lost most of the things that the computer came origionally.  For one thing is my LAN sitting and my WIFI.  I tried to set them up, but nothing will work.    Then I tried and installed the Windows XP Home Ed. that came with the computer, and now I have 2 OS in my computer.  But when I logged in with the Home Ed. nothing changed, everything that suppose to come with the computer is still not there.   Can I get some help on how to get my system back to the origional as how it comes in the first place.  Other files that I created were transfered to my desktop before the reformat, so anything that can just bring the laptop back to it's origional package would help.

Once you get Windows installed, you need to install the drivers for all devices, making absolutely sure that you install the chipset drivers as the first drivers installed. After the chipset drivers are installed, you need to install the drivers for your video adapter, network adapter, wireless network adapter, sound card, touchpad, and any other devices attached to your computer.

I've read through the steps for reinstalling, but here's the first problem, I had done a reformat on the laptop with the Chinese Version XP Pro and in the process, I've deleted the main C drive and recreated again.  Now I can't find any of the part installations both you and the directed article said.  Any other way for me to get my computer back to Dell spect or do I have to send it back to Dell for a totally reformat and reinstall?  Covered with warrenty? since it's a software failure by the MaCAfee that Dell installed?

oh, and how do I take off the other OS that installed beside the XP Home that Dell gave me?
