My Network Places

Question

I noticed My Network Places can list in order of location, but what i'm not sure of is my router is listed under Local Network and all the computers on my network are listed under the Internet.  Does anyone know if this is correct or should my networked computers be listed under local network with my router?

depends.  doesnt really matter much, but windows determines by (i think) IP address information.  Ive never used that feature, but it may depend on weither or not they are in the same workgroup or in a different one.  XP is only as smart as it is meant to be.

You need to configure the Windows firewall allow UPnP Framework

1. go your start menu

2. click on Control Panel

3. click on Windows Firewall

4. click on the tab say Exceptions

5. click in the box UPnP Framework
