Mystery Uploading activity when connected to Internet
New Dell 2400, configured unit to connect to my ISP. As soon as I connect the computer starts uploading session at full line speed. Not sending email, browser not launched. Unable to ID any specific process in Task Manager. Current Virus scan detects nothing. Any suggestions?

Are you running a firewall that detects both inbound and outbound traffic (like the free version of Zone Alarm)? If not, you should download and install Zone Alarm or something similar. Note the Windows XP firewall will only stop inbound traffic. With a 2 way firewall you may be able to identify what is sending information out.
