Network Connections Popup

Question

Whenever I don't sign on the internet right away when i boot my computer, i get a popup asking me how i want to connect to the internet, either my aol or my isp.  what does this mean/

Your internet settings are in conflict, best thing to do is go in to your internet properties under connection and click on never dial a connection. Also check your lan settings and select one as your default connection because both are trying to fight for dominance.
