Network with Intel 3945 & Netgear WGT624?

You have all components necessary and since you are able to share the internet on each computer, you already have a network set up.  The network wizard tends to mess things up if there is already a network set up.  To finish setting it up so that you can share files on each computer, open Network connections, right click the network connection that you are using and select Properties.  Make sure the box next to File and Printer Sharing is checked.  Next, open My Computer or Windows Explorer.  Select a drive or folder you want to share on the network, right click it and select Sharing.  If it asks you if you are sure, answer Y. 

Firewalls will block access to File and Printer Sharing.  On any computer running Windows XP with SP1, disable the Windows XP firewall. It will not allow File and Printer Sharing. On computers running Windows XP with SP2, make sure that the Windows XP firewall has File and Printer Sharing checked off on the Exceptions tab. If you are running any third party firewalls, like those provided by such programs as Zone Alarm, Norton Internet Security, or McAfee Security Suite, make sure they are configured to allow local network traffic.
