New Truemobile 1300 Driver
Does anyone know what the updated Truemobile driver (for North America) updates or what has been changed?

There are also a couple more settings added in but those aren't too important for the average user.
One big thing I noticed was that it corrected my problems with my wireless getting disconnected when using WPA encryption. It now works perfectly and my connection hasn't dropped once since I updated it.
Btw, there should be a readme in the Download section stating all the changes/fixes made in the new update.

The only thing I could install was the driver. When I ran it on my i8200 it said "Can't install, hardware not supported".

I just now installed it on a C610 that uses a TM1300 PC slot card with NO problems. What's the deal with the MINIPCI card in the i8200.
UPDATE
I got around the problem with the i8200 and the MiniPCI card. Luckily I have a TM1300 PC slot card also. I uninstalled the Dell wireless software, shut down and removed the MINIPCI card. Then I booted installed the PC slot card and installed the new utility and drivers, they went right in. Then I shut down removed the PC card and reinstalled the MiniPCI card. Everything is running. We'll see if I lose the connection like I use to with the old drivers.
I'm now going to install the driver on a C600 that uses a Linksys WPC54G slot card that is now listed as a Dell MiniPCI card.

If you go to Device Manager and select properties of the TM1300, you can select Update Driver under the Driver Tab.
Direct the search for the for the new drivers to the folder you extracted the files to (Default: C:\dell\drivers\R74029\IR)
This will alow you to at least use the newer drivers, but you still can't install the new control app.

I installed the latest Dell True Mobile 1300 driver (released march 22 for north america), flawless install. better interface, seems stable. definately would recommend.

What's the difference between manually installing the drivers in the 'IR' folder or the 'AR' folder?

UPDATE
I have rolled back to the old utility and driver after having dropped connections and low detected link speed on my i8200. My AP is 4-5 FEET away from the i8200. With the old driver, 3.20.23, I do have a drop of the connection but it would always reconnect on it's own. With the new driver/utility it would drop and stay dropped untill I manually reconnected. So I uninstalled the complete package and reinstalled the old package then updated the drive. I still had a connection drop and NO auto reconnect and I noticed the link speed would drop to 18Mbs. So I rolled back to the old driver.
Now on the 2 notebooks I use PCMCIA cards on, a Dell TM1300 and a Linksys, I have not seen this with the new driver/utility.
Also I find the new utility installs a AEGIS Protocol (IEEE 802.1x). What is this for and why was it installed with the new driver/utility.
