no internet connection
DEAR SIR
GOOD MORNINIG
STUDIO 1555
DUE TO ROUTER PROBLEM TO DAY EYE CONECTED MODEM DIRECT WITH WIRE
TO MY COMPUTER BUT NOTHING HAPPEN AND NOT CONNECTED INTERNET.
WOULD YOU GUID ME TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM MEANWHILE ALWAYS EYE USE ROUTER AND THIS
IS FIRST TIME AFTER BUY MY COMPUTER EYE MEAN BEFORE I DID NOT TEST IT.

turn your modem off, turn the pc off, turn th modem back on...wait a few seconds , let the modem connect to the isp, turn on the notebook. If you still can not connect possibly you have the router has your log on info cached on the router. If you do not know what it is you will need to call your isp and create a broadband "dialer"...To create the dialer
IE, Then tools, then connections, then add, then radio button connect via BB, Name connection, next, fill in the info at the bottom with your BB account info
there is one last scenario...do you have another pc connected to the router. If you have cable, cable in the USA is for the most part authenticated by a MAC of a nic, they could be using the MAC of the second computer and it could be "cloned" inside the router. to test this plug in the second computer to the modem...turn off modem, and pc, then turn on modem, the pc
