You will have to download the drivers on a computer with internet access, copy the files from that computer to some kind of removable media (a CD-R or USB memory stick), take the removable media to the I 6000, copy the files to the hard drive on that system, then run them from there.  All  drivers can be found at:

Make sure you install the chipset drivers first.  You Network Adapter (ethernet) is under Network and is the Broadcom 440x 10/100 adapter.

Steve - One more question...do I download/run both versions of Broadcom 440x10/100? There's v.4.25 and v.v7.6.10.

Download both.  One is the driver the other is the utility.

Sorry Steve. I had clicked the link in the other post with my same question but a different computer. I've got what I need now. Thanks again.

It sounds like you are not going to the drivers page for the Inspiron 6000.  Did you use the link I posted in my last reply,  or,  do you not really have an Inspiron 6000 but instead have something else?

When I click on the driver link, go to Networks, I only see 2 options, Dell Wireless 1450 or Intel Pro/100 VE Network Connection, not the Broadcom one you mention. What am I missing? Thank you so much for the help!
