No Network recognition -- New Dell XPS 8300

Question

Hey, guys.

I'm attempting to setup this computer (Dell XPS 8300) for the first time. When I try to connect to my wireless router, it's as if the network card doesn't recognize ANY networks. (Usually, even my neighbors' signals bleed over.) I'm not too computer savvy, but I've never experience this before. Usually, I fire up a new computer and it asks for my router key. This one doesn't even act like it can find a signal. Any ideas on what to do? If it helps, I have a Broadcam NetLink Gigabit Ethernet card installed. When I check my hardware, it says that "this device is working properly." Suggestions for the high-technically challenged?

Broadcom Net Link Gigabit Ethernet card is not a wireless network adapter; the system is not able to detect the wireless card,

The best thing here is to check in BIOS if the wireless device is enabled or disabled.

To enter the BIOS screen, Switch on the computer, tap F2 at dell logo to enter BIOS screen.
Select the option “Wireless”. Check if the Wireless device is “Enabled or Disabled”.
If it is “Disabled “please “Enable” it by following the instructions at the bottom of the page.
Press F10 to make changes.
Restart the system to save the changes
Check in device manager if the WLAN is detected.
Now try to configure wireless connecteion.

I've entered the BIOS screen several times, but have yet to find anything that says 'wireless' as an option.  At the top of the screen, it reads: APTIO SETUP UTILITY.  The options below that read: MAIN, ADVANCED, SECURITY, BOOT, and EXIT.  Where do I go to find 'wireless?'

I would like to know if the wireless card was detected in device manager. If it was not detected in device manager, please check in BIOS for the WLAN card in “Advanced” tab under “System configuration.

If the Wireless card is not detected in BIOS, please check the invoice order details of the system, if the system was ordered with wireless card in it.

If any difficulty in finding the invoice of the computer, please private message me the service tag of the system, I would check if the system was ordered with wireless card in it or not.
