Nokia 3285/Inspiron 2650

Question

I am trying to connect my Nokia 3285 (Verizon) with my I2650 to get connected to the web. I don't have a landline, and don't really want to get one. What hardware/software do I need? I have contacted Dell, Nokia, and Verizon and they all keep telling me to call the others. I did get a data cable from Verizon but the cable doesn't fit in the port on my Dell. Any ideas? Thanks.

I used a card modem that had a special connection next to the phone line connecter. Then I had to purchase a special cable from the phone company. It worked perfect. You must have the right card modem and cable.

With Verizon the dail up number is #777 both the user and password are the same qnc lower case go to nokia web site to get software and find what cables you need
