NZ tone dialing uses different tones
I received this information (below) from someone in New Zealand and am not sure how I wouls change the setting when I visit NZ and try to use my Inspiron 5100. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks John
Also remember that NZ tone dialing uses different tones to the US If your useing a pc its easy to change the region to NZ but if your intending to use some other device you need to check that it will work in NZ. NZ uses the CCIT (international standard) tone plan

I got this on another forum. knowing that it is rated, and setting it are two differein things. Look at "regional settings".
John
"from the start button open the settings then control panel Near the bottom
you will find "regional settings"This is where you set the region your in. I
use 98 but I belive its virtualy the same in XP"
