Personal Area Network

Hi everyone :)

 

I'm tryin to create a Personal Area Network (PAN) between my Laptop and a Windows Mobile Device, but I can't find the PAN option on my Laptop's Bluetooth software, while other Bluetooth services are visible; the PAN is no where to be found unlike other Bluetooth software like for example the BlueSoleil.

 

Please Help.

 

I have the following:

 

DELL INSPIRON 6400

XP SP2

 

Bluetooth Software:WIDCOMM v5.0.1.2609

 

Bluetooth Chip: DELL 355 MODULE

I have never seen the "PAN" option.  I woudl think you would craete a normal netwrok using those specific adapters as the device to use.

 

Use the Advanced Wizard to setup this connection.  Allow incoming connections and you shuold be able to chosse the Bluetooth device.
