PPPOE getting disconnected in standby mode

Often time when I put my computer into standby mode (the Dell 8300 w/ WinXP), my PPPOE connection seems to get terminated.  I checked the event viewer and found the following:

I have the power saving disabled for my NIC and the PPPOE connection is set to not disconnect and to redial if the connection is dropped.  I am using XP's built in PPPOE connection.  Anyone have any ideas as to why this may be happening?
