Problem in Bluetooth inspiron n5110

i have dell inspiron n5110 but i can't send or receive any data from my laptop via Bluetooth and when you go to device manager i can't see any Bluetooth device
(it's invisible Suddenly!! it's in first time install it i see in complete install and then in yellow mark and it's disappear)
when i search for add devices in control panel i see Error in definition form my Bluetooth device
When visiting website dell learned at that must be installed the driver in correct order

- that's my problem only ?
- and Is it necessary to re-install my operator system or not to install my Bluetooth?
- i have windows 7 64-bit

thank you for your time

Hi,

Providing the link for the specific order in which the drivers need to be installed. Please use the following link for detailed instructions: http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?c=us&docid=268873&doclang=en&l=en&s=gen&cs

Also, check if the drivers are installed in the computer. To check that, please follow the instructions:

  1. Click start.
  2. Right-click Computer.
  3. Click Manage.
  4. Click Device Manager.
  5. Is there anything listed under Other Devices (if the drivers are not installed in the computer it would be listed under Other devices).
  6. If yes, then install the drivers.
  7. Below is the link for driver’s page as this computer. Install the correct wireless card which was shipped with the computer as it would be included with the Bluetooth, http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/inspiron-15r-n5110

Please post back with the results.

Hi,

We can get the issue fixed neither by reinstall nor repair windows on the computer. Reinstalling the correct drivers on the computer may fix the issue. Please provide information of network adapters installed in the computer.

Under device manager, click on the ‘+’ sign of network adapter and it would show you the name of network adapter. Please provide me the name of network adapters.

Also, reinstallation of windows would be final step.

Please post back with the results.

Hi,

It looks like the issue might be with the Bluetooth drivers.

Download and save the latest version of the drivers in the computer. Providing the link for Wireless/Bluetooth card: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/inspiron-15r-n5110?driverId=26RM6&osCode=W764&fileId=2731103258

Then uninstall the drivers from device manager and please follow the steps to uninstall the drivers:

  1. Click Start.
  2. Right click Computer.
  3. Click Manage.
  4. On the left side click Device Manager.
  5. Click on (+) Network adapter.
  6. Right click the wireless driver and uninstall it.
  7. Ensure that the delete the driver software for this device is checked.
  8. Restart the computer.

Install the wireless driver on the computer.

Please post back with the results.

Hi mohamedtamim,

We can do system restore to the date when the Bluetooth was working fine, providing the link for detailed instruction:  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/features/system-restore

If issue persists, then run the online diagnostics (Choose a Diagnostic Type as components) on the computer to check if the hardware (Bluetooth) is working fine, providing the link for detailed instruction:   http://www.dell.com/support/diagnostics/us/en/19?~ck=mn

NOTE: With system restore you will not lose any data from the computer, any new programs installed in the computer you would need to reinstall the programs back on the computer.

Please post back with the results.
