Problems with truemobile 350 bluetooth in i8500
I just purchased the truemobile 350 card (p/n T5152) directly from dell. I installed the card into the laptop with ease. I am trying to load the driver and I keep getting error messages like "this program is not compatable with this bluetooth module" I have found two different drivers on dell's website...

R112482.EXE
The first file, "r92909" goes through the setup process until about 75% complete and then says the program is not compatable with the card and then finished the installation. The second file "r112482", will not get past the first setup screen and says that there is not a compatable card for the program. There was no previous bluetooth card in the laptop. I have tried removing all bluetooth software (add remove programs) and drivers (device manager) and then reinstalling either file. I just get the same error messages.
Any ideas how to get this working?

So, after chatting will dell support and repeating things I had already done (removeing all bluetooth drivers) and renaming the windows drivers... http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;889814 and this did not help.
I removed all dell truemobile bluetooth software and drivers and let the windows drivers (after I restored their original extensions) take over and now the card is working and able to communicate with a hp pocket pc.
I would like to have the option of using the dell drivers (since thats who provided the card!) So if anyone has found a way for them to work, please let me know.

I am not using M$ or toshiba stacks. This is what I have done with my TM350:
I flashed the firmware in the TM350 using the instructions in the first post in this thread:

Then uninstall any Widcomm or Toshiba BT adapter that is still listed in the Control Panel.
Then uninstall the BT adapter in the Device Manager, shutdown the notebook, remove the TM350, reboot notebook.
Then shutdown the notebook, reinstall the TM350, reboot notebook. Don't allow M$ stack to install. If it installed then uninstall the BT adapter in the Device Manager.
Download and install Widcomm driver:

This is all that I did and mine works OK.

Its still not working with anything but the microsoft drvrs. So i tried to update the firmware using "dfu.exe" and I get the error message, "Could not find a compatable bluetooth chip on your system." The is the same error message I get when I try to run the install in R112482.EXE . The card dell sent me has t5152 pn stamped on it, so im pretty confused since this part # identifies the 350. Strange.
Right now, the card shows(show hidden) in my device manager the following bt entries:

Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI) #3
