Quickset Turning OFF NIC
I have a Inspiron 5100 and have just updated to the latest version of quickset. I now have noticed that my network card is working extremely slow. Like 0.22% bandwidth whilst transfering files. Before the update it was working fine and usual sat around 65%-75% which is okay.
I have looked in the "CONFIGURE INTERNAL NETWORK CARD POWER MANAGEMENT" Settings and it say's that the NIC is OFF. I have plugged and unplugged the AC Power Supply to see if the thing will reset. I have even unplugged the network connection and reconnected it. I am at a loss on what to do next.
Is this a QUICKSET issue? or a sign of a NIC Failure?
Any Ideas?
Thanks for your help.
