router card help
I picked up a new D-link Mimo router and laptop card and when installing the card I found it didnt fit in the slot in the laptop? Is there a way to get this hooked up? I was told I need the card to be able to use the MIMO feature.
Laptop is a XPS M140
When I look in the slot on the laptop the conectors on the inside are different then the card???
TIA

Man I really wish I looked into this. What a pain in the neak! So I am unable to utilize my router.
Is there an adaptor out there or an external PC slot? Any time frame when these will start coming out?

The rumors I've heard are always February. We're half way through, so they could be out any time now.

Hi
You can go for one of the internal wireless cards mentioned below that can be ordered from dell sales (BUT it wont give MIMO performance as you have to use a MIMO supported card)..
Intel Pro Wireless 2200
Intel Pro Wireless 2915
Dell Wireless 1370
Dell Wireless 1470
