Router installed... power management problem?
I just installed a router to my new dsl modem so I could wire up two computers.
It seems when the computer is inactive for a period of time( no email coming ,etc.)
the router connection to the modem seems to disconnect.
netgear says it's a power management problem
what should my settings be?
I'm running windows xp.
Thanks.

Well, I talked to someone at staples and it seems there's a power management feature that needed to be disabled in the network card on my computer. I'll see if it works tonite.

also, I have the wgr614v2 which has different download then the one you supplied the link to.i'm update firmware 2.04 instead.
If I don't go through the router, my connection stays up and running.
could something be wrong in my network setup?
I do setup but just don't stay connected.
thanks
