Router not handling high-speed internet connection
Hi everyone,
I have a new high-speed internet connection of 100.0 Mbps and my old Linksys Wireless-G 2.4 GHz (54 Mbps) router doesn't seem to handle it properly, I'm not able to get the internet connection working if the router is connected to the computer.
Any suggestion? Thanks!

florinescu,
Wired is always faster than wireless. I have a Linksys WRT54GS that's connected to a DSL modem/router. We recently got a faster connection and I noticed that my download speeds have increased from 90 to 337KB.
Are you using these Recommended Wireless Router Settings in your wireless router? I use channel 11. A wireless N router would be faster but only if you have a wireless N card in your computer. Using a wireless N card on a wireless G network, you will only be using wireless G speeds. Being wired will alway be faster.
