router slows conection
My router slows the net connection every day, to a fourth of fifth of normal speed. I have to unplug and replug daily sometimes more, and no longer cannot access the router settings page. Any ideas please?

Hi,
My first suggestion would be to update the firmware on that router. Most routers allow you to do that from the admin pages, but if you can't even access that then it depends on the make and model of the router you're using. If you can tell us the brand and model number we can go online to see if there is a firmware update available.
Your best option would be to google your router brand, model, and the word "firmwares updates" to see what is out there.
One last question, you say you can't access the router settings page, are you trying to do that wirelessly or with a wired connection? If it is wireless then try plugging in an ethernet cable to see if you can access the page there.
One other thing, if you do get to the settings page, try resetting your router to factory defaults if that option is available on your router. Take off all security settings and see if the connection maintains it's integrity without anything enabled on the router.
Let us know about that router make and model, and we'll see if we can find some additional info for you.
