Running Inspiron 6000 Wireless

You connect to a local wireless router or Access Point using its wireless network adapter to a local computer network or LAN.  There are many types of "wireless" connectivity (even a TV remote is wireless), and this is only one of them: wireless networking, with a normal range of about 100ft depending on environmental and physical factors.

 

If you want wireless mobile connectivity everywhere like with your mobile phone, unfortunately this is not.
