Split network speed
Hey all,
I am new to networking. Ok, i got my new network working and running smoothly. But I am wonderiing, can I split the speed? You know like, one of the computer has 20 kilobytes of download speed and 10 kilobytes of upload speed. And the other have the other half. I did some searching around and i found that some router automactily split the speed, is this true? I heard it was a D-Link some type of a router. The router that I got is I think Linksys EtherFast® Cable/DSL Router with 4-Port Switch (BEFSR41).

Some routers can do a little bit of QoS stuff like the Linksys BEFSR81, but they are a little expensive, and dont do wireless.
