Trouble bridging 2-TM2300s as access points

I have a TM2300 running the latest firmware that I use as a wireless access point connected to a wired network.  The computer is an X300 with the TM1400 card.
I wanted to increase my range so I bought a 2nd TM2300 and am trying to bridge them.  I have set them up as following:
Both same channel.  Both same SSID and WPA key.  Bridging is enabled on both and the MAC addresses of the other router have been typed in each.
When I try to use it I get a much better signal, and its SSID is correct in the TM utility.  However, I can't access the 'NET until I unplug the second (bridge)TM2300.

Can anyone make any recommendations as to how to fix this?

Thanks,
Steve
