True 1300 and linksys router

Question

I have a 5150 with a true 1300 and I use a linksys router. I had a pc before with a cisco pcmcia card and it worked fine. With the new pc the card either does not respond or it drops in speed to 5.5 or even 2 mhz. It is slow and some times does not work. I do have wireless phones .

Can I get some help on how to get this to work better.....

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

First, remove or relocate all possible sources of interference: microwave ovens and 2.4 GHz cordless telephones. Then you should update the firmware on the router and the TM 1300 drivers to the latest available.

Also move the router to a different channel like 11.  But do the firmware\driver updates too.
