Turning on Wireless Realtek Card

I recently got a Latitude C840 Laptop and i can't figure out how to turn on the wireless internet card.  I was told to press FN and F2 at the same time and i would either see a list of available networks populate or a popup balloon at the bottom of the page and i saw neither. PLEASE HELP!!!

Since I doubt that the Realtek is an internal card that would be detected by the software that controls the Fn F2, this probably won't work.  Did this card come with the computer or is it something you added later?  Do have any documtation on the card?

Yes it is a refurbished computer that i bought from someone.  And no i unforunately don't have any documentation.  I'm probably going to just have to take it back and get them to do it. unless you know what i can do or where i can go to find out how to turn it on.

I would first look in the Device Manager to see if it is installed properly and if so, look in the Service Applet to determine if there is a Service associated with it.  Simply by turning on WZC may also activate the card.
