Unable to share files and printers

I have an Inspiron E1505 on a Wireless network.  I have an internet connection with no trouble.  However I can no longer use the printer on the network.  I think I downloaded a new driver for the wireless internal card not too long ago.  I have a Dell 1390 Wireless Lan Mini-Card Rev 3.6, software version 4.100.15.8.  Now when I right click on the Wireless icon to view available networkds, I get a Choose a wireless network but it says Windows cannot configure this connection.  If you have anabled antoher program to manage this wireless connections use that software.  This is a new message.  Any help would be appreciated.

You are getting that message because the Dell Wireless software is managing your network.  To get it back to using Windows, open the Dell Wireless Utility and uncheck the box next to "Let this tool manage your wireless network".

To solve your file and printer sharing problem, make sure that any third party firewalls you have running are configured to allow local network access.
