Uninstalling 1184
How do you uninstall Truemobile 1184...? It is not listed in Add/Remove Programs, there is no uninstall utility in the program itself or on the disk. I don't want to try to go thru my program files and do a manual delete (that always gets messy)
The reason I want to uninstall it is the router itself is not working (well, it may be, but no one is answering my forum question, so I can't fix it) and I unhooked everything getting ready just to put it back in the box... When I reconnected my desktop directly to the broadband modem, I have no internet access... none... but when I hook the router back up and connect the desktop to the modem thru the router, everything is peachy...
What the heck is going on and how can I get rid of this problem...?

Jeremy...
In a previous message, (yesterday) I said that the router was not sending a wireless signal. The problem I am having now is with my desktop. I unhooked my desktop from the router completely b/c if I can't use it for wireless, then why have it hooked up? So I then reconnected my broadband directly to my computer. No Internet access. I get the router out of the box and ran the desktop access thru the router (hard wired, not wireless) and then I have access.
My point is that I now have to have the router to have Internet access b/c of something the 1184 utility is doing. That's my theory. Something is preventing me from having access when connected directly to my cable modem.
Any suggestions...?

either that or delete the network connection and create a new one, or just re-run the internet connection wizard

Thank you. I will try that. I had re-run the Internet wizard, but hadn't released/renewed the IP so I hope that will work...
Just as an aside, any clue as to how to remove the 1184 utility from my system...? If I'm not going to be using it (at least for the time being) I don't want it just hanging around.
