UPGRADE Wireless Inspiron 9400

My new Inspiron 9400 came with a
1390 Wireless Card.
I will traveling overseas and i need a very good and reliable card for wireless.
I been reading about the Atheros AR5006 chipset.
Seems to be more reliable and trouble free than the Intel counterpart.
I don't know which model # will be fit my 9400.
 
So far i found it in Gigabyte brand
 
This is a mini -PCI Express card
 
and  HERE:
 
Is this a  mini -PCI Express card also.?
 
How compatible it is in format (  Antena Connectors) for the Inspiron 9400?
 
I understand that only certain brands of Routers ( D-link,Netgear)?Which one wil be the correct one, and if anyone have any experiences about these  or a better option , please let me know....

Thanks for the advise. But like I said before my traveking overseas is the main issue. No DELL where i am going.
I found that for the 1390 the  Dell Part# : 430-1678.
Manufacturer Part# : HF910
But no Info about the size of the card
 
I am planning to buy a D-LINK router, (DI-634M or DGL4300)with the Atheros CHIP.
Please i need info , my traveling date is around the corner....

You have a MiniCard. The size of a MiniCard is 51mm X 30 mm.

Dell 1390 is a fantastic card. Keep it. Furthermore, you will always have access to Dell Wireless Tech Support, if you keep the configuration as it is. Normaly a MiniCard is shipped with 9400. Any MiniCard will fit in but I recommend you stick to the Dell card.
